InkaBinka is next day daily news delivery in an easy to digest format. Noone has time to read full news articles anymore. We live in a time of soundbites, buzzfeed lists, and 140 characters. Not many people are reading past headlines or the link bait anymore to have a real sense of what is happening in the news.

InkaBinka is an app that tries to give you the full story in 4 easily consumable bullet points. It curates the most important news stories from the day before and in less than 30 seconds you have all you need to know about the story in order to retain understanding of what is happening in the world. Co-founder Chris Brahmer describes it as

InkaBinka is for anyone who wants to stay informed on today’s news, but doesn’t have the time to read 1,000-word articles. In about 20 seconds you know what you need to know about that story and your retention of the information is higher. No bias, back story, or fluff … just the facts.

Pros

  • We love clean minimal design, and InkaBinka is an uncluttered app with just the information you need.
  • Apps that are slow to load, or take a lot of time to refresh drive me insane. InkaBinka has a fast delivery of the news snippets I need to stay informed.
  • A team that is seeking Series A Funding, this app looks to be around awhile, delivering information in consumable ways.

Cons

  • The main reason I did not give this app 5 stars, is because InkaBinka is not real-time news. Currently it offers only a once-a-day news selections, targeted mainly at people who used to get NO news. I look forward to when this app is offering real-time news, because it really is the easiest way to get all the information you need, in a quick, consumable, digestible format.
